In May 2009, a notice has been sent out to all ship owners, ship operators, ship agents and ports that the Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MOU) and Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control in the Asia-Pacific Region (Tokyo MOU) will be carrying out a joint Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on Lifeboat Launching Arrangements from 1 September 2009 to 30 November 2009.
In conjunction with this, TF Lifeboat Sdn Bhd held a seminar on 18 August 2009 in MISC corporate office for relevant MISC personnel, comprising of corporate HSE, ship superintendents, ship captains, etc.
